3 Days Masai Mara Safari

A fantastic 3 days safari to one of the biggest east Africa game reserve features a drive down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara game reserve were you will enjoy to see how Masai people and their animal live in harmony with wildlife. You will have the opportunity to spot the big five and the enormous grazing herbivores who are always present.

 Maasai Mara National reserve is famous for the integral role it plays in wildebeest migration. Which usually occurs in July and august were millions of these herbivorous move north to Serengeti in search of pastures before returning back to south again in October. It is also home of the big five: lion elephant rhino leopard among other wildlife.

This short adventure will end on the third day were will drive back to the bustling capital of Kenya-Nairobi.

Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara
Pick up from the Airport or Nairobi hotel and proceed for the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive for lunch at Sarova Mara Game Camp. The next two days shall be spent game viewing, either in the early morning hours or in the evening as this is when we have the best chances of seeing animals. Enjoy your afternoon game drive. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara
Proceed for your full day game drive. On clear days, Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinted sunsets and you will definitely want to capture this moment while sipping on a sun downers back at your lodge. The Mara reserve is 1510 sq km of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile river woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topi, impala, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara-Nairobi
Being your last day at the Mara, you can either choose to go for an early Morning balloon trip which is usually very outstanding way of seeing the Savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast alternatively you could optfor an early morning game drive before being transferred to Nairobi.
